For this project we redid the Physics of sports video. In our video we talked about: Mechanical Advantage, horizontal velocity, acceleration, parabolic motion, and force of an impact. I hope you enjoy!
CONCEPTS:
Horizontal Velocity: To find horizontal velocity you have to divide the change in distance by the change of time
Mechanical Advantage: How much easier a tool makes something or conversely how much harder a tool makes something.
Parabolic Motion: This motion has a horizontal force and also gravity acting as an downward force creating a curved fall.
Acceleration: The rate of change of velocity per unit of time. To find this you have to use the equation Acceleration = Velocity divided by Time
Force of an Impact: To calculate the force of an impact we had to use the formula ft=mv. Or in other words, Force x Mass = Mass x Velocity.

REFLECTION:
My group had many difficulties during this project. First off, our narrarations did not save and we had to redo them many times. When they finally did save, when we reopened our project the narrarations were off by 30 seconds and we could not fix them other than remaking the narrarations. Another problem we ran into was staying on task. Since we were allowed to pick our groups. My group was full of my friends. This made it hard to not constantly talk. However two peaks my group had was being creative. Since my group was full of my friends we wanted to joke around and make the video as funny as possible. Another peak I had was taking a leadership role. My big job this project was keeping kids on track. This was helpful because it made my group finish on time. I can't wait to see what projects we do next year!
