SECRETARY of the future
For this project we had to find a plot of land in Novato and make a change to it that would benefit our community's future. We chose to install two wind turbines on 805 Atherton Avenue. These two turbines will be installed by Blattener energy. This company will do all the pre-construction surveys, material procurement, and building. The company will also install all the power lines to disseminate the energy created. The turbines will create enough electricity to power 1300 houses. Also in the project we had to create predictions for 50, 100, 300, and 1000 years. We were required to find predictions for the climate, population of animals, soil conditions, biodiversity, and matter of cycling. Below is my presentation my group and I created.

Biosphere: where all life lives in the Earth
REFLECTION:
I really liked this project. It had me think outside of the box. Our first idea was to have a nuclear power plant. This at first sounded like a good idea because of the energy created. However, the safety was a large problem. We then decided to stay on the energy path, but create two windmills.
Personally I think I did had a good leadership role in this project. I made sure my group was on task and avoiding distractions. I also think I did a good job on contribution. I helped my team on the creativity part. I am not a very creative person, so normally it is hard for me. However for this project I thought I did a good job.
Two things I can improve on are empathy and staying on task. I can work on respecting my teammates and their ideas. I also need to work on staying on task. Being in a group with my best friend did not help my productivity rate. There were many times when I had to reset myself and get back to work.
In the end, it would be fun to do this project senior year and see what I can improve on/change when I get older.
